I've coached netball at Makassar Our Lady of Peace Youth Club since 2003. Most of my players were between 11 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
