Arianna Singleton
Keeper of the reference
- 🇬🇧 London, England, United Kingdom
- Central Reading Room
- 1978 to 2001
- English
I worked at Central Reading Room from 1978 to 2001. If there was a question, we'd find an answer, or at least a book that might help.
I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it. A library should feel like a living room.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Arianna: I'd put a gift toward a reading corner at the nearby school.
