I taught design and technology at Harbor High School in Birmingham from 1978 to 1998. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I never once raised my voice.
Over the years I had 960 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Arianna
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
