I'm a cricket coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 1,100 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
