For 24 years I've run the athletics program at San Diego Youth Club in San Diego. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
What gifts mean to Aria: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
