Arda Barış Korkmaz
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇹🇷 Üsküdar, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Little Hillcrest Trades Guild
- Since 2003
- English, Turkish
My trade is weaving. I opened my own shop in 2003 in Üsküdar and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I watch every football match going.
More about Arda
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Arda: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
