I taught mathematics at Redwood Grammar School in Tacoma from 2004 to 2023. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I played music while people worked.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

You taught me mathematics in 2004 at Redwood Grammar School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard
