I coached rowing at Móstoles Youth Club from 2004 to 2015. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
