Apio Wanjiru Kigozi

Religious studies and English literature teacher, Mukono

  • 🇺🇬 Mukono, Central Region, Uganda
  • Orchid Grammar School
  • 1982 to 1995
  • English, Swahili
I taught religious studies at Orchid Grammar School in Mukono from 1982 to 1995. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I never once raised my voice. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

More about Apio

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
