Apio Janet Kimaro
Woodcarving artist in Mukono
- 🇺🇬 Mukono, Central Region, Uganda
- Since 1992
- English
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes ceramics. My first show was in 1992 at Bayview Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Bayview Gallery, which keeps me honest.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
What gifts mean to Apio: Any gift helps me keep the free Saturday class running.

I bought one of your pieces in 2000. It's still the first thing I see in the morning. Greetings from Madina.
