Apio Florence Mwende
Youth cricket coach and mentor
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Queensway Football Club
- 2010 to 2023
- English, Swahili
I coached cricket at Queensway Football Club from 2010 to 2023. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
More about Apio
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
