Apio Esther Mutebi
Self-taught photography artist
- 🇹🇿 Arusha, Arusha, Tanzania
- Riverside Studio
- Since 1981
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in photography, sometimes textiles. My first show was in 1981 at Riverside Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Riverside Studio, which keeps me honest.
More about Apio
I've had 10 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
