Apichart Somchai Kongkaew
Mural painting and jewelry artist
- 🇹🇭 Bangkok, Bangkok, Thailand
- The Bangkok Gallery
- Since 1993
- English
I work mostly in mural painting, sometimes jewelry. My first show was in 1993 at The Bangkok Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I try to remember everyone's name. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Apichart
I've had 9 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Apichart: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.

I bought one of your pieces in 1993. It's still the first thing I see in the morning Greetings from Anaheim.
