For 19 years I ran the dance program at São Paulo Highland Boxing Gym in São Paulo. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Aparecida
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Aparecida: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
