I teach drama at Meadowbank Secondary School in São Paulo since 2001. Most days I teach the youngest children, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 900 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Aparecida
If you were in my the youngest children class, you probably remember the quiz night we nearly won.
What gifts mean to Aparecida: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
