I coached swimming at Hillcrest Youth Club from 1991 to 2021. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I watch every football match going.
More about Aparecida
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Aparecida: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 2011. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from New York.
