For 17 years I've run the volleyball program at Cần Thơ Cedar Grove Sports Club in Cần Thơ. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Đào
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Đào: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
