Anyango Apio Mutebi
Master of masonry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Maple Ridge Shop
- Since 2018
- English, Swahili
I've worked in masonry since 2018. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 360 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Anyango: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
