I've been a nurse for 25 years, most of them in cardiology at Acacia Maternity Hospital in Liverpool. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm still learning every day.
