Anwar Hatem Sarkis
Youth basketball coach and mentor
- 🇸🇦 Medina, Madinah, Saudi Arabia
- Willow Creek Boxing Gym
- 2010 to 2020
- English, Arabic
I coached basketball at Willow Creek Boxing Gym from 2010 to 2020. Most of my players were between 8 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never once raised my voice.
More about Anwar
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Anwar: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 2015. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Bacolod.
