Anwar Faisal Radwan
Coached rugby for 45 years in Leeds
- 🇬🇧 Leeds, England, United Kingdom
- Leeds Football Club
- Since 1981
- English, Arabic
I've coached rugby at Leeds Football Club since 1981. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
More about Anwar
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Anwar: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
