Anushka L. Zaveri
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Dwarka, Delhi, India
- Dwarka Trades Guild
- Since 1979
- English, Gujarati
I've worked in welding since 1979. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 2,680 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
More about Anushka
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Anushka: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
