Antonio M. Contreras
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇲🇽 Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico
- Old Tlaquepaque Workshop
- 1987 to 2011
- English, Spanish
My trade is blacksmithing. I opened my own shop in 1987 in Tlaquepaque and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 18 years later for another job.
More about Antonio
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
