I taught environmental science at Highland Boys' School in San Nicolás de los Garza from 1983 to 2019. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 1,010 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
