Antonio B. Ibáñez
Intensive care nurse at Lincoln Maternity Hospital
- 🇨🇴 Bucaramanga, Santander, Colombia
- 1981 to 2010
- English
I've been a nurse for 29 years, most of them in intensive care at Lincoln Maternity Hospital in Bucaramanga. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Antonio
I still get cards from families years later. They're pinned to my fridge.
Areas of care
What gifts mean to Antonio: I'd put gifts toward a training course in palliative care.

you looked after my mother at Lincoln Maternity Hospital in 2021. We never forgot your kindness. Truly.
