I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 32 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Over the years I had 1,820 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Antônia: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
