Antônia Ana Carvalho
Self-taught glass art artist
- 🇧🇷 Brasília, Distrito Federal, Brazil
- Old Brasília Studio
- 1989 to 2011
- Portuguese
I work mostly in glass art, sometimes ceramics. My first show was in 1989 at Old Brasília Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I carry a notebook everywhere. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Antônia
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Antônia: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
