I've been a nurse for 48 years, most of them in school nursing at Atlas Community Hospital in Montpellier. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
I take the work seriously, though not myself. Small things matter when someone is frightened.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
