Anong Thongchai
Self-taught mural painting artist
- 🇹🇭 Khon Kaen, Khon Kaen, Thailand
- Little Khon Kaen Gallery
- 1979 to 1991
- English, Thai
I work mostly in mural painting, sometimes digital art. My first show was in 1979 at Little Khon Kaen Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by markets and street scenes. I sing in a choir.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Anong: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
