I coached athletics at Johannesburg Cedar Grove Athletic Club from 2017 to 2025. Most of my players were between 10 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Annelie
If you played for me, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
What gifts mean to Annelie: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
