I coached rugby at Kansas City Sports Club from 1995 to 2009. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.
More about Annabelle
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Annabelle: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
