I've been a nurse for 15 years, most of them in elder care at Leeds General Hospital in Leeds. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm still learning every day.
