I've been a nurse for 36 years, most of them in intensive care at Los Angeles Clinic in Los Angeles. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm still learning every day.
