Anna Katharina Schumacher
Master of bicycle repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇩🇪 Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg, Germany
- Old Karlsruhe Trades Guild
- 1995 to 2007
- German
I've worked in bicycle repair from 1995 to 2007. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 530 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Anna
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Anna: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
