I've coached chess at Birmingham Greenfield Football Club since 2009. Most of my players were between 11 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Anna: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about the long bus ride home. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Polokwane.
