Anjana G. Rathnam
Spanish and statistics teacher, Surat
- 🇮🇳 Surat, Gujarat, India
- Surat Girls' School
- Since 1999
- English
Surat Girls' School is my second home. I teach Spanish there since 1999, mostly mixed-ability classes.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Anjana
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Anjana: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
