For 13 years I was the environmental science teacher at Varanasi Technical College. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 660 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Anjana
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Anjana: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
