For 45 years I have been the accounting teacher at Varanasi Grammar School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Anitha
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
