I've worked in plumbing since 1981. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 2,300 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I fix old bicycles.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Anitha
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Anitha: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
