Anisur Talukder
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇧🇩 Narayanganj, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Old Narayanganj Trades Guild
- 2008 to 2023
- English
My trade is thatching. I opened my own shop in 2008 in Narayanganj and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I bake for the whole street at New Year.

What gifts mean to Anisur: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
