Anisur Faruk Rashid
Coached cricket for 36 years in Dhaka
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Crown Athletic Club
- 1982 to 2018
- English, Bengali
I coached cricket at Crown Athletic Club from 1982 to 2018. Most of my players were between 12 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I fix old bicycles.
I'm still learning every day.

If you played for me, you probably remember the snow day nobody expected.

What gifts mean to Anisur: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 2019. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Surat.

I still think about that terrible school play. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Gulu.
