I taught art at Jakarta Barat High School in Jakarta Barat from 1990 to 2008. Most days I taught Year 7, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I had 410 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Anisa
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Anisa: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me art in 2025 at Jakarta Barat High School. I still remember the surprise birthday cake. Thank you again.
