Anika Sathi Mia
Painter, potter and teacher at Dhaka Print Workshop
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- 2016 to 2024
- English, Bengali
I work mostly in sculpture, sometimes woodcarving. My first show was in 2016 at Dhaka Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Dhaka Print Workshop, which keeps me honest.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Anika
I've had 10 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Anika: Any gift helps me keep the free Saturday class running.
