I spent 21 years as a lecturer in marine biology at Surabaya Polytechnic in Surabaya. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a nurse and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Ani: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
