I've been a nurse for 38 years, most of them in palliative care at Thủ Đức Children's Hospital in Thủ Đức. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
