Anh Minh Mai
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇻🇳 Cầu Giấy, Hanoi, Vietnam
- Old Cầu Giấy Workshop
- 2008 to 2023
- English, Vietnamese
I'm a thatching specialist. If you live around Cầu Giấy, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 25 years later for another job.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Anh
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Anh: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
