Angelo K. Macaraeg
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Savannah, Georgia, United States
- Willow Creek Trades Guild
- Since 2011
- English, Filipino
I've worked in thatching since 2011. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 590 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Angelo
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Angelo: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
