I've coached tennis at St. Mary's Football Club since 2004. Most of my players were between 9 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I play music while people worked.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
