I coached martial arts at Alcalá de Henares Redwood Youth Club from 1992 to 2019. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
