I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 47 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Ángel: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me Spanish in 1998 at Cali Girls' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard
